Gratin Bell Peppers

alt="Gratin bell peppers"I love bell peppers especially their intense flavor and color! When fall is coming I prefer cooking bell peppers as a side dish to fish and meat . They are good  as hot appetizers, too. In this recipe I will show you gratin bell peppers, a very simple and delightful dish.

PREP TIME: 5 minutes

COOK TIME: 40 minutes

TOT TIME: 45 minutes

SERVES: 2 people

INGEDIENTS

2 yellow bellpeppers

2 red bellpeppers

1 clove of garlic

Olive oil to taste

Salt to taste

2 tbs of capers

2 tbs of breadcrumbs

5 or 6 cherry tomatoes

PREPARATION

  1. Rinse and cut off the core end of each bell pepper, remove seeds and membranes, and cut into strips.alt="step 1-2"
  2. Rinse and cut cherry tomatoes in half.
  3. Put bell peppers and tomatoes in a baking pot, add chopped garlic, salt, rinsed capers and olive oil. alt="step 3-4"
  4. Mix all together and add  breadcrumbs over the bell peppers. Bake at 374 °F or 190 °C for more or less 40 minutes.alt="step 5-6"
  5. When bell peppers become crispy,remove from the oven….. let the bell peppers cool and serve!
